Remembering and analysing your dreams

stapelsabine

Set your intention before sleep

Each night before going to sleep, set the intention to remember your dream. For example, tell yourself, "Tomorrow morning, I will remember my dream." You can also request the free Dream Meditation to support this process.

Keep a dream journal

Write down your dreams as soon as you wake up. The more often you do this, the better you will become at remembering them.

Stay in your sleep position & Focus on your heart

If the dream doesn’t come back to you immediately, stay in the same position in which you were dreaming. Shift your attention to your heart area and follow your breath there.

Reflect on emotions & themes

Don’t just focus on what happened in your dream—pay attention to how you felt. What emotions surfaced? Are there recurring themes in your dreams?

Look for symbolic meanings

Many dreams contain symbols that should not be taken literally. Try to uncover the deeper meanings behind these symbols and how they relate to your waking life. Start by asking yourself: What personal associations do I have with this symbol? What characteristics do I attribute to it?
By following these steps daily, you will notice that within two weeks, you begin to remember your dreams more frequently.
